 XY-44A鉆機主要適用于以合金和金剛石鉆進為主的巖心鉆探，也適用于工程地質(zhì)勘探、水文水井鉆進，以及大口徑基礎(chǔ)樁工程。

 XY-44A型鉆機的主要特點：
1.具有較多的鉆速級數(shù) （8級），和合理的轉(zhuǎn)速范圍，低速扭矩大（最大達8000牛頓.米）,既適合以合金、金剛石巖心鉆進，也可用于工程地質(zhì)勘察，水文水井鉆進和基礎(chǔ)樁工程施工。
2.立軸通孔直徑大（直徑93mm）,雙軸缸液壓給進，行程較長（可達600mm），工藝適應(yīng)性強，特別適合大直徑鉆桿繩索取心（上部取心）鉆進，有利于提高鉆進效率和減少孔內(nèi)事故。
3.鉆進能力大，直徑71毫米繩索取心鉆桿額定鉆進深度可達1000米。
4.重量輕，可拆卸性好，鉆機凈重2300千克，主機可分解為10個部件（最大可拆卸部件重300千克），搬遷方便，宜于山區(qū)工作。
