彩石金屬瓦、蛭石金屬瓦、彩砂金屬瓦是由鍍鋁鋅鋼板作為基材、彩色砂粒、底漆和丙烯酸樹脂構成。其中鍍鋁鋅鋼板基材是由55%鋁，43.4%鋅和1.6%硅組成的電鍍液經電鍍而成的，其加工性、涂裝性與鍍鋅鋼板基本相同。彩色砂粒是金屬瓦的裝飾層也是保護層，它是由一定粒徑的顆粒經高科技著色工藝和高溫烤制而成的（也叫陶化法，次方法使得彩石永不掉色）。
圣戈邦彩石金屬瓦、蛭石金屬瓦、彩砂金屬瓦具有十五種顏色，可耐紫外線照射，能減輕雨水給金屬瓦造成的噪音，使彩色鋼板瓦色彩豐富莊重，裝飾性更好，這是一般彩色壓型鋼板所不具備，也是不能比的。底漆作為瓦的特殊材料，它是使鍍鋁鋅鋼板與彩色砂粒進行良好粘結的材料，作用大。而丙烯酸樹脂作為表面的保護層，防止細部雨水滲漏，能延長砂粒色彩的壽命。

圣戈邦彩色金屬瓦有5種形狀，其它配材齊全，彩砂更有15種顏色。圣戈邦彩石金屬瓦、蛭石金屬瓦、彩砂金屬瓦本身固有的耐候性、耐濕性、耐鹽水噴霧性、耐沖擊性、耐酸性、耐堿性、耐熱性、不燃性扥特性。該產品以鍍鋁鋅鋼板為基材，并有多層保護膜處理，可經受嚴寒、冰雹、暴風、雨雪、和酷熱、地震等惡劣氣候以及自然災害的襲擊，具有很好的耐火性，不會因此而開裂、老化、遇火燃燒、風掀，具有很長的使用壽命。
彩石金屬瓦、蛭石金屬瓦、彩砂金屬瓦可以用于木屋架，鋼構架，全鋼網架，混凝土屋面的使用。由于具有易彎曲，切割等特點，適用于各種建筑，對于坡度在（12-90度）屋面也可安全施工，特別適用于“平改坡和屋面翻新”工程。同時能夠替代原有的黏土瓦、水泥瓦、彩鋼板、玻纖瀝青瓦、石板瓦等，施工的同時不必要把原有的屋面拆下來，就可直接施工。由于金屬瓦的表面面積大，重量輕，可彎曲，切割，通過采用獨特的扣接設計與構造和水平釘固方式，相互連接固定牢靠。使得工程完美，簡便快捷，節省材料。
