污水一級(jí)處理為預(yù)處理，二級(jí)處理為主體，處理后的污水一般能達(dá)到排放標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。三級(jí)處理為深度處理，出水水質(zhì)較好，甚至能達(dá)到飲用水質(zhì)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，但處理費(fèi)用高，除在一些極度缺水的國(guó)家和地區(qū)外，應(yīng)用較少。目前我國(guó)許多城市正在籌建和擴(kuò)建污水二級(jí)處理廠，以解決日益嚴(yán)重的水污染問(wèn)題。
