堆高車電機的保養（1）為保證電池壽命，電池投入使用前應充足電，充電不足的電池不可使用。（2）電池盡量避免過充和過放。電池過充和過放會嚴重影響電池性能和壽命。（3）電池液孔塞和氣蓋應保持清潔，充電時取下或打開電完畢應裝上或閉合。電池表面、連接線及螺釘應保持清潔、干燥。如有硫酸，用棉紗蘸上堿液擦去，應注意不要讓堿液進入電池內。（4）充電完成后，應檢查電池液位，及時補加蒸餾水以保持液面高度。正常情況下嚴禁補加稀硫酸。（5）電池使用后，應及時充電，放置時間一般不超過24小時。（6）充電時應保持良好的通風，嚴禁煙火。（7）出現下列情況，電池需作均衡充電。

堆高車驅動輪速度明顯降低或驅動電機嚴重過載：原因：電池電壓太低或樁頭接觸電阻太大；電機換向器片間積碳引起片間短路；電機制動器調整不當而使電機帶制動運行；驅動頭齒輪箱及軸承缺少潤滑或底座卡阻；電機電樞短路。解決方法：檢查堆高車負載時電池端電壓或清洗樁頭；清理換向器；調整制動器間隙；檢查清洗并重新加注潤滑油，清除卡阻現象；更換新電機。

堆高車起重無力或不能起重原因：齒輪泵與泵提磨損過度；換向閥內的溢流閥高壓不當；油壓管路漏油；液壓油油溫過度；門架滑架存在卡阻現象；油泵電機轉速過低。解決方法：更換磨損或齒輪泵；重新調整；檢查并修復；更換不合格的液壓油并檢查油溫度升高的原因；檢查并調整；檢查電機并排除故障。
