JFY-801 User's Guide
I. Product Overview
This product is an intelligent motor integrated protection, is the traditional thermal relay upgrade products. The product uses digital processing technology, high brightness LED display, built-in three-phase current transformer to detect the load current of the motor can be displayed according to the current three-phase current and determine whether there is an overload, underload, phase loss, phase current imbalance and other failures. In the event of the failure, the internal relay contacts open, cutting off power to the motor.

Fourth, the operation guide
View A, B, C phase current
Normal operation shows the average three-phase current, press "Sel" key to switch the display A, B, C phase current. Overload, underload, phase, display the current flashing, indicating that it is locked in the failure of the current moment (when the motor is powered off, the actual current is 0), phase imbalance fault.
rated motor current set value (setting current)
Press "Sel" key for 2 seconds to display the "Settings" and change key with "" or "" setpoint (hold "" or "" button pressed bursts), set up after the press "Sel" key to exit the setup.
alarm (protection) state recovery
Overload, underload, when the phase or three-phase imbalance alarm in the display flashes "Overload", "underrun", "Phase", "unbalanced" and other words, the relay off, and locked in the OFF state. Then just press "" or "" key to lock the state recover from protection.
parameter settings
Under the current status display, press "" button for 5 seconds to enter the parameter setting state, then display "Fxx" on the display, where xx is a two-digit number indicates the parameter code. With "" or "" keys to select the parameter code, press "Sel" key to display the parameter values corresponding to the parameter code, then then "" or "" button to set the parameter setting then finished press "Sel" key to return to display the parameter code status.
Internal parameter code as follows:

Additional features on the class F61 Power-up 0--9990 秒 energized several seconds and then pull the relay, the equivalent of a time relay function

Fifth, the basic working principle
current detection
Built-in current transformer to detect the load current, so the motor is protected three-phase line must pass through three holes of the current transformer.
Overload
Overload protection can be divided into definite time and inverse time protection modes, JFY-801 only definite time mode, JFY-802, JFY-808 F12 can select definite time or inverse time mode by setting the parameters.
1. definite time mode
When the load current exceeds the rated current (parameter F11), and the duration of action to achieve the set overload time (parameter F13), the relay off, cut off power to the motor. That overload action time is fixed.
2. Inverse Mode
Overload and overload current action time related to the size, the more the load current exceeds the rated current, the shorter the operating time. You can select a different inverse curves according to different characteristics of the motor, JFY-802,808 offers five inverse curve, as follows:
Overload multiple inverse curve (F12)
123450
1.1 930 1861 2791 3721 4651 F13
(Definite time)
1.2 296 59388911851482
1.5 87174261349436
23569104138173
31325385163
4 6.7 13,202,734
5 4.2 8.4 131 721
6 2.9 5.7 8.6 1214
7 2.1 4.2 6.3 8.4 10
8 1.6 3.2 4.8 6.4 7.9
The above is the overload operation time (unit: second)
underrun protection
When the load current drops below the set point (parameter F14), and the duration of action to achieve the set underload time (parameter F15), the relay off, cut off power to the motor. This feature is off by default, set the parameters F15 when needed.
The load current is too small, not underrun detect, prevent malfunction in the motor off state.
phase unbalance protection
Definition phase unbalance rate is: any one phase current and three-phase absolute value of the difference between the average current, whichever is maximum, divided by the average three-phase current, that is a three-phase unbalance.
When the phase unbalance rate is greater than the set point of the three-phase unbalanced action (parameter F21), and lasts longer than the three-phase unbalanced action time (parameter F22), the relay off, cut off power to the motor.
The load current is too small, not to unbalance detect, prevent malfunction in the motor off state.
lack of protection
Phase can be considered a serious phase unbalance, phase unbalance when greater than 50%, that phase. Phase of the action time set by parameter F23, generally longer than the three-phase unbalanced action time (parameter F22) shorter.
The load current is too small, not phase detect, prevent malfunction in the motor off state.
automatic recovery
Automatic recovery feature is intended to protect shutdown when a fault occurs, have the opportunity to automatically return to work, to prevent unattended equipment failure due to sporadic downtime. You can use the parameters F51, F52, F53 is free to set the automatic recovery actions: for example F51 = 3, F52 = 15, F53 = 60, the effect is: after a fault shutdown, over 15 minutes automatic recovery (F52 = 15), so can retry 3 times (F51 = 3), if a fault occurs repeatedly over three times and repeat the failure interval shorter than 60 minutes (F53 = 60), then locked in stop mode, you need to manually restore (press "" button or power).
If you do not auto-recovery function, as long as the F51 is set to 0.
time relay function
If enabled by setting the parameter F61 relay function, the rear protection energized, the relay is not immediately pull, but then pull the delay period, the delay time is set by the parameter F61, then carried on the LCD countdown display. Equivalent to a delayed start time relay function. F61 = 0 to disable the time relay function.
Six Dimensions
Seven, wiring diagrams
Three-phase lines, respectively, through the motor 1. A, B, C three holes
2. Terminal 1 is the internal relay normally open, normally closed 2 points, 3 points for the public. Protection in case of power failure, the internal relay is in the released state, 1,3-off, after 2,3 pass, energized, the relay immediately energized (if time relay function is enabled, the delay pull, see parameter F61) 1,3 through 2,3-off, turn on power to the motor control. In the event of an overload, phase loss, phase imbalance fault, the relay is released, disconnect the power to the motor.
